- He used to be in a biker gang when he was younger, then ended up falling into the mafia after that. He left it on "legal" (in terms of the mafia's rules) terms, so they've cut ties with him and he's done the same with them. Despite this, he still has personal connections that he can tug on if he absolutely needs to.
- He has a very gruff and deep voice, not helped by the fact that he smokes. However, the cigarettes he smokes are a special kind (wide-spread in the world) that don't stink as badly, whose scent doesn't cling as badly, and whose second-hand effects are almost nonexistent. While they're still not great for him, he's not going to smell like an ashtray and he won't hurt anyone who hangs around him unless he actively blows the smoke in their face.
- He actively blows smoke in the faces of (adults) he deeply dislikes or hates. He doesn't ever do this to children (to him, anyone under 20) and doesn't do it if it's just a matter of dislike or not getting along. It's only the people he considers bad (such as unrepetant murderers) that he does that to.
- He really, *really* adores children and wants to protect their innocence as much as he can -- or at least, what they have left. His interest is totally innocent as well, only seeing children as things to care for and protect, though some people don't believe it considering how gruff he is. When it comes to children, he's as gentle as he can be and tries to speak to them with as much support as he can. He also doesn't see children opposing him as anything very serious -- even if assaulted by his own child, he'd only be confused and wonder if it's a rebellious phase of some sort. What helps is that the vast majority of children won't be able to seriously hurt him, so he doesn't take them seriously in turn.
- With adults, Arthur is less openly kind, but he's still polite and mostly friendly. It might not seem that way, since he's very blunt and speaks his mind, but he doesn't dislike or actively bother people outright. If they're stupid, he'll call them stupid, but he's generally a pretty safe person to talk to or confide in because he doesn't really think people are inherently bad. He's seen the worst of people, he's seen people inherently bad, and so if someone is that way, he can pick them out easily -- but the vast majority of people simply aren't like that.
- That said, he has very low tolerance for people who are intentionally or stubbornly ignorant. While he might call someone an idiot or grumble about them being stupid, he'll help as long as they're willing to make the effort to learn. If they aren't? They're on their own. Children, again, are exempt from this, though if they keep being stubbornly idiotic he may adhere to more "tough love" and let them suffer the consequences, but help afterwards. Essentially, he'd let them burn their hand by grabbing the stove, then treat the burns afterwards.
- He's incredibly skilled with his hands, from making wooden toys to dolls to stuffed animals to even board games. He studied how to make them and worked hard to learn, and the quality shows through. None of them are perfect, but they're hand-made, unique, and good quality, so they're highly desired anyway.

- Like others in the Academy, he can manifest bullets in dizzying patterns with only small gaps to dodge, as well as jump and float around (though he can't fully fly, only float).
- He can also just fight in more normal human terms, however, knowing how to use guns, his fists, his legs, and just brawling and gunfighting in general. While he prefers his bulelt patterns, using a pistol is much cleaner and more subtle, so it's a good tool to resort to when that's needed.
